Updated 2018: new product added!

To heat a small space in a tiny house, cabin, RV or houseboat you don’t need to have one of these big wood pellet stoves. A small  model wood burning stove will do it just perfectly.

What you want to look for is a wood burning stove that is small enough to fit into tight spaces but still powerful enough to heat even a space of 1,200 square feet. If you’re looking for a wood burning small stove for a mobile home make sure that the manufacturer assures that it is approved for mobile homes.

Vogelzang Wood Stove All models are EPA certified, another important aspect. And a great plus is also that these modern small wood burning stoves don’t release smoke into your home, even if you open the door to refill wood logs.

Well, speaking of logs, some of these wood burning stoves are despite their small size so deep that you might fit even bigger logs into it. A great advantage for people who can’t resize the logs they’re getting.

Measure the space where you wish to install your new wood burning stove to make sure that it will fit perfectly.

Take a look and make your upcoming winter months warm and cozy.

I had this stove for over 6 years. Lighting this stove was super simple. I was able to get 5-7 hour burns on this if the air control was set on low and I had a good amount of wood in it.

Well built stove that is easy to get a fire burning in. I am using it to heat a 2500 sq. ft. home and it performs excellent. Stove puts out alot of heat and we all enjoy watching the fire burning when we are in the living room. Excellent stove for the money.

I have the small one and it works fantastic. It drafts like a champ and I can run it with the door open and not get a bit of smoke in the house. And when loading logs….no smoke comes out the front door. The heat shields on the sides make it able to he placed very close to walls. I have eight inch clearance to a side wall, but you could honestly have it an inch from a wall. It’s such a nice stove for the price. The blower is nice and it is very quiet.

This is a nice inexpensive alternative. It is very shallow so the maximum size logs that fit easily is 14″. Solid and well made in the USA. Air regulation is pretty efficient and the glass stays fairly clean. Circulation fan works well.

Customer review

This stove has about the largest view window for a small stove that I’ve ever seen and is one of the reasons I jumped on it. I wanted this to be the focal point of our living room. Another nice feature is the ash hole in the bottom with an ash pan. Makes clean out very easy. I’d highly recommend this stove to anyone who wants high-efficiency heat from wood in their home.

I was very impressed. When it’s 20 degrees outside it heats my 1600 square foot home easy. It doesn’t use a lot of wood. It burns the wood to powder. Very easy to get fire going, and maintain. Overall very impressed with this little stove.

Great product with all the features we wanted, and we got it quick and excellent condition. Well put together.
