Living in a tiny house or small apartment doesn’t mean you have to miss out on great furniture. The thing is to find the right furniture for your tiny home, so it doesn’t take away too much space and still looks gorgeous and elegant. Coffee Tables fall definitely under this category, as long as they have a small footprint and have a great glass design.
As I mentioned in another post choosing furniture made of glass makes your tiny home look more spacious. It is just about cheating the eyes, but that’s all that it needs. You can have a coffee table as additional furniture in your tiny home when it disappears at the same time and makes the room free and light.
There is not a lot of space in a tiny house, a small apartment, an RV or houseboat. I don’t need to tell you that. So seeing my post about console tables may let you think that this kind of furniture might be superfluous. Well, it isn’t. The obvious advantage of a console table lies in its unique shape.
Most probably you have somewhere in your tiny home an unusually spaced place that is just difficult to be furnished. Having an unused space in a tiny home always makes me think of how to take advantage of it, how to use it perfectly. Console tables come to mind when it is about unusually shaped spaces.
In tiny kitchens or living places you have to rely on tiny furniture that provide the same comfort and look than any big furniture. Tables, I mean dining tables, are one of them. If you have already gorgeous bar stools you might be interested in accompanying them with an even more awesome bar table.
This post is dedicated to bar tables and not full bar table sets with bar stools. Bar tables or also called pub tables are just perfect for any tiny living place such as small apartment, tiny house and even RV and houseboats. They look absolutely elegant and don’t take away too much space. Because they are so lightweight you can move them around as you wish.
The title doesn’t really give it away what this post is about, doesn’t it. Well, Glass is one of the top materials if it comes to decorate a tiny home such as a tiny house, RV, houseboat or a small apartment. What glass does is giving the look free through the furniture and creating an openness that isn’t really there. Glass anyway makes every furniture look elegant and sophisticated.
Every furniture can be made of glass. What a great opportunity for your tiny home! Glass is such a fascinating material creating transparency wherever it is used – table, chair, shelf. It provides a strong but unobtrusive look offering harmony in contrast. Sometimes just adding some glass components to an already existing furniture makes it look fancy and unique such as an insert in a table, chair or cabinet-door.
Living in a tiny place means that you don’t have a spacious room available for a large dining table with 6 or more big chairs. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a decent place for dining in your small home. Although I suggested in another post that even a nice end table can be used as a dining table for one person, I think having a dining set, if the place is available, is more eye-pleasing and comfortable. Not to mention that with a dining set you can have easily friends over for dinner.
How about a Bistro Dining Set? They are perfect for a one or two person household and create a great Parisian vacation ambiance. You will find Bistro Dining Sets that are foldable for easy storage or transportation. This might be interesting for you living in a RV or houseboat. Otherwise you just push the chairs under the table creating that way space when you don’t need your dining set.
